This brake makes every other brake look like a toy! By enlarging the pistons from 10 & 17 mm (master & caliper MT7) to 12 & 19 mm, we achieve unprecedented stability and sensitivity – even under the highest loads.
By enlarging the pistons , we have reduced the overall pressure level. This means that less pressure is lost by expanding the hose. The result is a defined pressure point with good modulation.

The GUSTAV PRO is the first MTB disc brake ever to use 2.5 mm thick brake rotors and makes every other brake look like a toy!
Thanks to its mass, the brake rotor heats up significantly less, stays in the sweet spot longer and thus offers consistent performance in every situation!
In addition, it offers the quietest braking feel you have ever experienced. Without vibrations and noise.
Alternatively, you can also use the GUSTAV with the usual 2.0 mm thick rotors - without having to refill them.

Your bikes are too beautiful for ugly brakes! That's why the GUSTAV PRO brake master fits perfectly into modern cockpits with a 0 degree hose outlet. With 7 ml of oil volume in the expansion reservoir - almost twice as much as in the MT7 - we have done everything to ensure that bleeding rarely needs to be done and is even ABS compatible. Integrated Shiftmix compatibility allows you to mount SRAM and Shimano shifters on the GUSTAV.

The new PRO brake lever from GUSTAV is based on the HC-W brake lever developed together with Loic Bruni with an adapted min-reach setting. It offers a comfortable length to save hand strength and still has a crisp pressure point feel. In the event of a fall, a predetermined breaking point on the grip surface ensures that the brake master is less damaged. Changing the lever is even quicker than usual thanks to the screwed lever bearing point. The Reach Adjust is beautifully integrated into the lever and is therefore particularly well protected.

Our answer to all annoying work on the bike with internal hose routing. Have you ever tried changing a headset on modern bikes? No longer a problem with EASY LINK. If the inevitable happens and you have to repair damage from a fall, EASY LINK is also your best friend. We deliver the brake caliper or master to you individually, pre-filled and ready to go.

The heart of the new GUSTAV and home to the huge 19 mm pistons! Forged in one piece, the brake caliper is particularly stiff and offers enough support for plenty of power. Because we all don't feel like spending time in the workshop, a larger air gap between the pad and the rotor makes many tasks easier for you and puts an end to annoying draging.

As a perfect all-rounder, it achieves the valuable sweet spot between braking power, stability and low noise as well as durability, giving the GUSTAV a particularly quiet, reliable and yet powerful braking feel in the overall system!
With 76 % more pad volume* compared to the MT7, you'll stay out of the workshop for a particularly long time.
