Because stiffness means braking power, we rely on our proven one-piece forged calipers with the LOUISE ELITE as well. Every ounce of force is uncompromisingly converted into deceleration.

To ensure nothing drags even after hundreds of kilometers, we’ve optimized the seals and the machining of the caliper. Compared to the MT5, the result offers particularly reliable piston retraction.
Texturing in the lever´s grip area ensures contact confidence in all situations – with or without gloves. Also with a wide reach adjustment, the brake is perfect for every hand size.
From the first brake application, the LOUISE provides an intuitive and comfortable braking experience. By using a larger master piston, we were able to optimize the pressure point and maintain user-friendly braking power. The result is a defined, harder pressure point that conveys security and power – without compromising on controllability.
We like to slow things down, except when it comes to quick installation! Thanks to the MAGURA EASY LINK technology, brake installation is not only easier and cleaner but also faster. Plug it in and go!
Our new one-piece Carbotecture IG clamp delivers a clean look without compromising on ease of use. Despite its one-piece design, it clips onto the handlebar effortlessly—no need to remove your grip. It’s also compatible with our Shiftmix IG adapters, allowing you to mount your shifter directly.
MDR-S 2.0
The MAGURA LOUISE ELITE is compatible with all MAGURA 2.0 mm rotors. New to the lineup: the MDR-S 2.0. Featuring an optimized friction ring design, it ensures full braking power while significantly reducing the risk of noise.
Carbotecture Brake Master
The brake master of the new LOUISE is designed to take up minimal space on the handlebar, while offering maximum room for additional accessories. Its sleek design seamlessly integrates into any cockpit setup.
A standout feature: the advanced texturing on the brake master provides reliable grip in all conditions. Additionally, the master is highly durable and resistant to wear.

With EASY LINK, you’ve never been more flexible: You can now disconnect or reconnect your brake hose at any time—without special tools and in just seconds. That saves time, hassle, and puts an end to the struggle with internally routed hoses & cables.
Need to swap the headset on a modern frame? No problem with EASY LINK. And if you ever have to replace parts after a crash, EASY LINK has your back—quick and easy.
Optional bleed valve
The LOUISE ELITE caliper can optionally be retrofitted with a bleed valve to make installation and maintenance even easier. The bleed valve is included as standard in the MAGURA Service Kit.
