In addition to the statutory warranty, MAGURA grants the original purchaser a 5-year guarantee on the leak-proof of the brake master, brake calliper and brake cylinder if the brake is fitted as original equipment on a bicycle or was purchased as a retrofit part from a dealer.
Please note the following guarantee conditions and the information how to make a guarantee claim.
In addition to the statutory warranty, MAGURA grants the FIRST BUYER a 5-year leak proof guarantee on brake masters, calipers and cylinders if the brake is mounted on a bicycle as original equipment or has been purchased from a dealer as a retrofit. The guarantee is valid for five years from the date of purchase. Registration for the 5-year leak proof guarantee is not necessary.
This additional guarantee does not apply if the brake components have been damaged by the following:
The brake hose is expressly excluded from the guarantee. Although it´s a tested component of the brake system, several influencing factors subsequently affect it while being individual processed, such as the necessary shortening and routing. MAGURA has no influence whatsoever on these factors and no final means of control. For this reason, the brake hose is not covered by the voluntary 5-year leak proof guarantee.
We expressly point out that a guarantee case can only be processed if the purchase receipt received from the dealer is enclosed. Shipping and installation costs will not be reimbursed. Please send your guarantee case via your dealer or if possible directly to the responsible service partner. For german customers: Send warranty claims via your dealer or directly to the following adress and don´t forget your contact details (Name, Adress, Phone, E-Mail).
